For
many years, the late Rev. Mozel Sanders, and now his followers,
have feed thousands of needy Indianapolis residents on Thanksgiving.
And for some time, individual Alphas and Iota Lambda and nearby
Chapters collectively have given their time to prepare for this
great event. In 2007 Iota Lambda Brothers including Damon Mc Dade,
Dedric Dennist, William Lindsey, Alan Presley, and Ed Squires turned
out on the eve of Thanksgiving to help with a variety of tasks.
Also in the house were a number of Brothers from area chapters as
well as a good representation from the current group of Junior Alpha
Men from the Indianapolis area - the collaborative Alpha youth mentoring
program. First of all - servants of all, Alphas were among representatives
of various BGLOs and the general public, extending a helping hand.
