Each
year, Iota Lambda Chapter strives to recognize the King Holiday
in a manner appropriate for members who share his Fraternal membership.
Pictured below are photos of Brothers at a special observance
hosted by the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and held at the
Indiana Historical Society on the week prior to the 2009 holiday.
Iota Lambda involvement included placement of a memorial wreath
and comments by Br. President William Lindsey. Also present were
various members of the public, media, and our AKA Sisters.
The Chapter also
participated in a march and the placement of the memorial wreath
on Indiana Avenue between the Urban League offices and the Walker
Theatre. (not pictured)
