Midwestern Regional Convention 2002


The convention began with an elegant Vice President's Reception in the Olympic Room of Indiana Sports Corporation's headquarters, high above the Indianapolis skyline.


Midwestern Region Vice President Samuel DeShazior welcomes the region to Indianapolis at the Thursday night gala.

Brothers and guests were serenaded into the evening with the Indy skyline as a backdrop for good fellowship.



Members of our Alpha Youth Program at Warren Township High School, were honored guests at the Community Outreach Luncheon.


The dulcet tones of good gospel music warmed those assembled for the Community Outreach Luncheon.

Luncheon keynote speaker was the granddaughter of Br. Garrett Morgan, prolific inventor, best known for invention of the traffic light.


Registration was a scene of bustling activity, but local and regional registration staff provided brothers with courteous service.


The vendor area, job fair, and health fair were a focal point for commerce, information, and impromptu fellowship.


Lovely and talented contestants added sparkle to the ever-elegant Miss Black and Gold affair.
