Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration 2008

Iota Lambda Chapter continues its support of Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration with another bold and colorful exhibit. The 2008 double booth featured elements of our Chapter of the Year entry as well as expanded information visual elements. In addition to the lighted display board with photos, proclamations, Jewel images, trophies, and a large sphinx mask, the booth included an electronic slide show, rotating video presentations, an impressive memorial wreath to Br. Rev. Dr. King, Chapter banners, brochures on the Chapter and our youth programs, and a photo essay board on our new Alpha Cares initiative. This new initiative adopts a Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital, and has already received acclaim from the Midwestern Region and potential, national recognition. A robust stream of Brothers from the Chapter, the area, and from out of state stopped by to grip, greet, and to admire the booth. Thanks to all who participated! (Additional photos contributed by Br.
