The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown was once again the venue for a signature gala - this time co-presented by the above-captioned Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. After a suitably elegant reception complete with prestigious silent auction items, the guests adjourned to the banquet hall for speeches, presentations, and a gourmet, multicourse feast. Following dinner, each organization surrounded the other for singing of respective hymns. Presentations were made, including Alpha Man of the Year to Br. Dedric Dennist (not yet pictured). In addition, entertainment was provided, first from Alpha Phi Alpha DJ and Emcee, Br. Bruce Ford, and later by national recording artists, Kindred. As you can see from the photos below, the place rocked! Thanks to all who supported the Legacy Gala by donations, ads, ticket purchases, and your attendance. And particular thanks go to the committees from both organizations, who worked tirelessly to male this great gathering so successful!
