In
2009, under the leadership of Br. Dedric Dennist, Iota Lambda
inaugurated "Alpha Week" themed to our seven Jewel
Founders. Seven days of joining education, work, entertainment,
love and service, brought Brothers and others out for what
we hope will be an annual display of Alpha in Indy. Following
is a brief synopsis of the week's activities and selected
photos of Alpha Week highlights.
Sunday,
September 13, Worship Service at Arlington High School; Monday,
September 13, Football Viewing Party; Tuesday, September 15,
Project Alpha at Forest Manor Multicultural Services; Wednesday,
September 16, Celebrity Bartender Fundraiser at Cosmos Knights
Club; Thursday, September 17, A Voteless people is a Hopeless
People at Forest Manor Multicultural Services; Friday, September
19, Escape From The Norm Matinee (postponed); Saturday, September
19, Community Service - Habitat for Humanity in Plainfield,
Indiana.
