2006 marked the 100th anniversary celebration of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first Greek letter college fraternity founded by and for African American men. During the week of July 23 - 30, the men of Alpha Phi Alpha gathered in Washington, D.C., for the Centennial Celebration Convention. Estimates of up to 10,000 Brothers were in attendance, many accompanied by wives and families, to mark the occasion.
In the pages which follow, we offer a glimpse of this once-in-a-lifetime event.
Please note that due to the use of "overflow rooms", we did not always have access to the primary venues, and some photos are via the large screen projections in those locations.

We ask Brothers who wish to contribute additional photos to email webmaster@iotalambda.org.
